Joyce Joseph, Local CoordinatorON, Ottawa

I am originally from the beautiful island of St. Lucia and have been a proud resident of Ottawa for the past 26 years. I truly enjoy living in this great city.
Since coming to Canada, I have built my career as a Developmental Services Worker, supporting individuals with various disabilities. I started working for Algonquin College as a Field Placement Coordinator in the school’s Developmental Services Program. For the past 15 years, I have held the position of Placement Liaison working with clients and supporting the students throughout their field placements.
My greatest accomplishment in life is being a Mom to an amazing seven-year-old daughter. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter. I enjoy hiking, cooking , traveling, and shopping.
It is an honor to be part of such a supportive team. I am excited about my journey as a Local Coordinator with MLI.
